The academy graduate of Sport Club Internacional, Porto Alegre. Vinicius played for the club’s youth and reserve teams. In 2021, he made 23 appearances for the U20 side - 16 in the league and 7 in the Cup (1 goal from the spot). Shakhtar reached an agreement on the transfer of Vinicius in the summer of 2021, and in January 2022 the player joined his new team.
One of Brazil’s major talents. The right-back takes an active part in attacking play. He feels confident under pressure, wins the ball, dribbles boldly, uses open space to advance and finds attack-developing options.
