Marian Shved is the Karpaty Lviv alumnus who has made his debut for their first team at the age of 17 managed by Igor Jovicevic. Then he has moved to Spanish Sevilla, but played only 1 match for the youth squad and 6 games (1 goal, 2 assists) for U19 team in the UEFA Youth League. Starting from summer 2017, Marian has played for Karpaty and became a leader getting 43 appearances and 21 scored goals during one and a half season. In 2019, he transferred to Scottish Celtic (3 appearances, 1 goal), then the midfielder spent a fruitful period in Belgian Mechelen: 62 appearances, 8 scored goals and 6 assists.
Since 2015, he has played for the junior and youth national teams of Ukraine. He made his debut for the Ukraine national team in November 2018.
Marian Shved signed the 5-year contract with Shakhtar on September 1, 2022.
He plays as an attacking midfielder. Marian has a great speed, quality dribbling and shot. He can successfully perform assisting work and finishing.
