Bartol Franjic is a graduate of Dinamo Zagreb, where he played for the main team from 2020, making 82 appearances (1 goal, 4 assists). He became the champion of Croatia three times (2020, 2021, 2022) and won the Croatian Cup (2021). In the summer of 2022, Franjic moved to German Wolfsburg, where he played 6 matches. Bartol joined the Bundesliga club Darmstadt on loan in the 2023/24 season (20 appearances, 1 assist). He played for Croatia youth national teams of all age categories. Bartol Franjic made 15 appearances and scored 1 goal for Croatia U21.
On July 2024, he moved to Shakhtar on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season.
