Dmytro is a graduate of the FC Shakhtar Academy where he got at the age of 8. He performed for the Miners in all age groups of DUFL, played for junior and youth teams. He participated in 2 seasons of the UEFA Youth League with Shakhtar (12 app, 2 goals, 3 assists). From 2019 to 2022, he has played in Mariupol (71 apps, 11 goals, 6 assists) on loan.
Since 2015, he has regularly played for Ukraine U19 and U21: 28 matches and 3 goals.
