A Brazilian Sao Paulo graduate. In the 2022 season, he made his debut for Sao Paulo U20, where he played 24 matches in the Brazilian Youth League and the Sao Paulo State Cup in a year and a half, scoring 5 goals and providing 5 assists.
In July 2023, he joined Shakhtar, singing a five-year contract.
He plays as a winger. Newerton boasts high pace, good ball handling technique, great passing and shooting.
